Hello and greetings.

Welcome and thanks for taking the time to surf the Web Department of Irrigation and Drainage Penang. This website is one of the media to provide information and liaison to the people of Penang will be the function and role of the Department. Entering 2016, I was appointed Director of the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Penang, along the entire workforce JPSPP, repeating a pledge to provide efficient and the best towards achieving Vision "To be the organization of a broad public sector in the world" through the Mission "To lead and providing world-class services in the management of water resources management, especially floods, river and coastal zone to improve the quality of life by ensuring water security and environmental kelastrian ". Recalling the achievements in 2015, DID has successfully performed the state of development of 95.54%, while for fellowship development, the DID Penang has reached 100%.

In 2015, the SSN has successfully received numerous awards at the state and national level. Among the awards are:

• Connection Certification OHSAS 18001: 2007 for Operation and Maintenance Pump and Pump House, acquired in 2011 and valid until October 22, 2017.

• Green Connection 5S Certification obtained in 2012 and valid until 3 November 2016.

• Connection MS ISO 14001: 2004 for Operation & Maintenance Services For River Irrigation Scheme young- Seberang Perai Utara, which was acquired in 2001 and valid until October 4, 2016.

• Connection MS ISO 14001: 2004 for Environmental Management System Sungai Pinang which was acquired in 2007 and is valid until 20 September 2016.

• Connection Certification ISO 9001: 2008 for Hydrological Data Management Services For National Hydrological Network in JPS Malaysia which was obtained in 2000 and valid until October 24, 2016.

• Award Financial Management Accountability Index Rating JPS Malaysia 2015, the Standard Performance Pengiktirifan 5 star.
  With progress was made until 2015, the Department is committed to moving forward pad in 2015 to Vision and Mission DID Penang.
